The status of Infotheek products ranges from brand new to B-grade refurbished. To select products that best suit your business needs, it is important to understand the differences between these statuses. Infotheek’s grading system provides a clear overview of what you can expect when purchasing a product with a specific status, including information about its condition, included accessories, and the warranty provided.
New
New products are brand-new, never-used devices in perfect condition. However, there are differences between new products.
New – N1
This device is brand new, has never been used, and is sealed in its original retail packaging. It comes with all original accessories and is covered by the full manufacturer’s warranty.
New – N2
This device is also brand new, but the packaging may be opened or damaged. It comes with essential accessories such as cables, adapters or batteries and is fully covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
New – N3
This device is also brand new, but the packaging is sealed by the manufacturer rather than the retailer. It comes with the full manufacturer’s warranty but does not include accessories.
Remanufactured
Remanufactured products have been previously used or returned, but are restored to like-new condition through a process of repairing, cleaning and functional testing.

Demo
Demo products have been used as demonstration units, usually at trade shows or in stores. They are cleaned, repaired and functionally tested to ensure they operate properly.

Selection – AS
A+ Grade
Approved Selection is our own brand, recognised as a top provider of refurbished products on the market. This device has an “A+” rating, meaning it is in very good condition with minimal signs of use.
The product is delivered in an Approved Selection box and includes essential accessories. It also comes with a one-year pickup and return warranty.
Refurbished – R4
A Grade
This device has an “A” grade, meaning it is in good condition with normal signs of use. The product is delivered in a brown box and includes essential accessories. It also comes with a one-year pickup and return warranty.
Refurbished – G5
This device has a “B” grade, which means it is in fair condition with heavy signs of use. The product is supplied in a “brown box” or bulk packaging. It does not include accessories and comes with a one month carry-in warranty.
