Buying IT Hardware

Do you sell directly to consumers?
No. Infotheek works with business customers and resellers only.
Are refurbished devices the same as used devices?
No. Used devices are resold without restoration. Refurbished devices are tested, repaired and certified, including a warranty.
How do I know the grade of a product?
Each product listing clearly shows its grade, based on the Infotheek grading system.
Can I request a quote?

What is Approved Selection?
Approved Selection is our own brand for premium refurbished products. These devices are A+ grade, with minimal signs of use and warranty included.
Do circular products have different warranties?

Yes. New and remanufactured devices carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Refurbished and demo products come with Infotheek warranty, often comparable in length and quality.

What is the difference between refurbished and remanufactured?
Remanufactured devices are restored by the original manufacturer to like-new condition. Refurbished devices are restored by Infotheek or other professional refurbishers, offering different gradings.
Do circular products cost less than new ones?
Yes. Circular products are usually more affordable than new ones, though exact prices depend on model, condition and specifications.
Will my computer come with the correct keyboard layout?
Yes. We localize all computers to the delivery country unless you request otherwise. Around 95% of our models support keyboard localization, depending on availability.

Yes. We support both short-term and long-term rentals. Whether you need devices for a one-day event, a week-long project or a multi-month contract, we adapt to your timeline.
How fast can you deliver rental devices?
We provide fast delivery across Europe, with same-day and next-day options available in many regions. For international projects, our logistics team ensures timely delivery and pick-up.
Do the devices come pre-installed with software?
Yes. Devices can be delivered with essential software, operating systems and applications already installed, so your team or event staff can start immediately.
Can you provide IT hardware for events like exams, festivals or elections?

Absolutely. We have extensive experience supporting universities, festivals, film productions, esports tournaments and municipalities during elections. Devices are prepared to fit the specific needs of each project.

Is technical support included during the rental period?

Yes. Our expert support team is available throughout the rental period to assist with setup, troubleshooting or replacements if needed.

Do you provide rental hardware with internet connectivity?
Yes. We can deliver iPads, tablets and other devices with Wi-Fi or 4G SIM card options to guarantee connectivity wherever you need it.
Can I scale up or down the number of devices during my rental?
Yes. We offer flexible rental terms that allow you to increase or reduce the number of devices as your project or workforce changes.
What happens to my data after the rental?
All devices are securely wiped and tested after every rental, ensuring your data is completely removed in line with GDPR and industry standards.
How do I request a rental quote?

IT Asset Disposition is the process of securely managing, reusing and recycling used or excess IT hardware and its components.
